💾 Local Storage

The extension stores only one piece of information locally on your device:

• Your preference setting (enabled/disabled state)

This data:

• Never leaves your device
• Is not accessible to us or any third party
• Is stored using Chrome's local storage API
• Can be cleared by uninstalling the extension

🌐 Network Requests

YouTube Focus Mode makes zero network requests. The extension:

• Does not connect to any external servers
• Does not send any data anywhere
• Does not have a backend or database
• Works entirely offline after installation

🔐 Permissions Explained

The extension requests minimal permissions, each with a specific purpose:

• activeTab: Required to apply blur styles to YouTube pages you're viewing
• storage: Required to save your on/off preference locally
• host_permissions (youtube.com): Required to run the extension on YouTube website

We request only the permissions absolutely necessary for the extension to function. No more, no less.

👶 Children's Privacy

YouTube Focus Mode does not collect any data from any users, including children. The extension is safe for users of all ages.

🔄 Third-Party Services

YouTube Focus Mode does not use or integrate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, or advertising networks.
